The Infinix Hot 9 Play is unique for having a bigger screen (6.82 inch vs 6.6 inch), battery (6000mAh vs 5000mAh) and Android 10 Go edition software, which is seemingly lighter and faster than the OG Android 10 Software experience.

The Infinix Hot 9 Play also has 4 storage variants 

(32GB 2GB RAM, 32GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 3GB RAM, 64GB 4GB RAM), some of which spot a better Octa-Core processor - the MediaTek Helio A25 but the unit I reviewed is the base model which uses the Helio A22. Storage variants are region specific and for now, i can only see the base model in the stores.

The Infinix Hot 9 Play is only an incremental update over the Hot 8 and Infinix used the same old dew drop notch here, however if you're looking for a good smartphone with best battery on a low end budget in 2020, this video should help you decide if to get the Hot 9 Play...
