See The Massive Airport In Japan Built On The Middle Of An Ocean

Japan is a silent technology power house. The Kansai Airport is an engineering wonder, It's the world's first airport built on an island. The airport is located on the artificial island of Osaka bay.

It was opened to the public for usage on the 4th of September 1994 particularly to reduce the overcrowding of the Itami international airport which was the only airport in Osaka at that time.

What's special what this airport is its terminals, They are the longest terminals in the world and were designed by the renowned Italian architect Renzo Piano.

It holds the record as the 30th busiest airport in Asia and the 3rd busiest in Japan, The airport is only used for domestic flights around the country.

The Japanese are not to be messed with when it comes to engineering wonders, and the Kasai airport is a proved of what the Japanese engineers are capable of doing.

If engineers could be this advance to erect this kind of structure about 24years ago, Imagine how buildings, bridges, and airports will be in years to come.
