After six days in coma, a twenty-year-old fashion designer, Ayomide Taiwo, attacked by a police officer, Inspector Ago Egharepbe, attached to Ibokun Divisional Headquarters in Osun State, is dead.
The young man had been in a coma since last Tuesday following the attack by Inspector Egharepbe, who was said to have requested a bribe from him.
Unfortunately, he passed on around 10 am on Sunday.
An uncle to the deceased, Segun Agboola, broke the news to The Punch. He said, “Ayomide never made it. He died after spending about six days in a coma. Since the incident happened on Tuesday, he had been in a coma.
“We are planning to take the corpse to Iragbiji, his hometown for burial. He lost his father long ago. He is survived by mother, aged grandmother and two siblings.”
